The Deposit Insurance Fund held an event in connection with the 95th anniversary of the architect and founder of independent Azerbaijan, prominent statesman Heydar Aliyev.

Deputy Executive Director and Acting Executive Director of the Deposit Insurance Fund Vugar Abdullaev provided information about the life journey of the Great Leader and his inestimable role in creating an independent Azerbaijan state, including strengthening the country's economy.

The world famous political figures consider and regard Heydar Aliyev as one of the most prominent politicians of the 20th century. The creation of a democratic, rule-of-law state in independent Azerbaijan and the great reputation earned by our country at the international level are just the benefits of Heydar Aliyev's policy. The return of the National Leader to the leadership of Azerbaijan at the request of people in June 1993 was a turning point in the socio-political, social, economic, scientific and cultural life of the country; the process of building an independent state began.
