Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund hold the second online seminar among the countries of Eurasia Regional Committee of International Association of Deposit Insurers.

On February 19, 2014 there was held an online seminar among countries from Eurasia Regional Committee of International Association of Deposit Insurers with an initiate and organizational support of Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund. The topic of this seminar was “Introduction and Enhancing of Differentiated Premium Rate”. Participants of the seminar were Deposit Insurance Organizations of Moldova, 6 member countries (Azerbaijan, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Kazakhstan, and Kirgizstan) and 2 observer countries (Belarus, Tajikistan) of EARC. The purpose of the seminar was sharing the experience on reimbursement of insured depositors through agent banks in an effective way with less time consuming and without leaving office.. The experts from Ukraine, Turkey, and Kazakhstan informed participants of the seminar about their experience on the topic and answered the questions forwarded them by other participants. Participants of the seminar were thankful to the organizers for holding the second online seminar among EARC countries. ADIF plans to hold such seminars no more than two times in a quarter.

 During the annual meeting and seminar of International Association of Deposit Insurers Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund were chosen as a chair of Eurasia Regional Committee for the years 2013-2014.
