Moratorium is applied to the execution of obligation of “Royal Bank” OJSC according to the letter No 16/05-125 dated July 16, 2012 submitted to the Fund by Central Bank of Azerbaijan Republic and by this way occurrence of insurance event and fail to execute its responsibility by “Royal Bank” OJCSin frontdepositors have been certified by the Central Bank according to the Article No 2.1.9 of law of the Azerbaijan Republic on “Deposit Insurance”.

Deposit Insurance Fund informs public on occurrence of insurance event at “Royal Bank” OJSC and notes that July 16, 2012 is considered as a day of occurrence of the bankruptcy at “Royal Bank” OJSC.

 We kindly inform you that 98 percent of depositors in “Royal Bank” OJSC are protected by Deposit Insurance Fund. The fund ensure that 100 percent of deposits of protected depositors possessing till 30 (thirty) thousand manats at the bank will be compensated. Within the next few daysdetailed information regarding Agent Bank to be elected and date and place where compensations will be paid in order to pay compensations to protected depositor of “Royal Bank” OJSC will be given soon.
